Burning the Koran

Without getting into the morality of book burning,the obvious cry for 15 minutes of fame, or the ease with which the media can be snookered into a non story.

I can not get past one basic point.

All books are precious and should be treated with reverence.

Every book is a snapshot in time. The good , bad, and ugly contained in print,   a type of  history .  Books are reedited reprinted and changed over time, only by protecting a copy will future generations be able to compare .

One side note: Where are the conspiracy theories?

Terry Jones, the Florida pastor threatening to burn a Koran tomorrow on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was a high school classmate of Rush Limbaugh.
