1Freeze Federal employment at the current level.

2.Do not fund anymore projects  than you can effectively oversee

Do not fund 800 bridges if you only have enough staff to oversee 100.

Fund 100 bridges, if 60 are done by the end of the fiscal year,fund another 60.

Demint says the campaign of the GOP’s White House nominee in 2012 should be based on repealing President Barack Obama’s health care law.

Fight man, Fight.

We are not children, we know the powers to be in DC   are going to block, veto, screw up any attempt to repeal Obamacare.

Kicking the issue to 2012 without a fight is not an option.

There is no downside to trying 10 times and losing 10 times , that puts Senator’s votes on record in advance of 2012 elections.

 

A PLEDGE TO AMERICA

I’ve had smoke blown up my ass before.  This pledge was clearly ass smoke.

At best its a lame attempt to tell the grass-roots “We hear you”but its a miss.  A quick look at any web site where The grass-roots can make suggestions on how to fix the Country.  No.1 is always cut congressional salaries .  That aint in there.

One more thing : The pledge is 21 pages long,  say what you mean in 1000 words or less and cut the ass smoke. The pundits will want the specifics , specifics can come later.

OK I lied one more thing : Penalties Every thing that is past in Congress includes the penalties for non compliance .  Where are the penalties in The Pledge? The Leadership that made this pledge should promise not to seek reelection in 2012 if this Pledge is not followed to the letter.

Without getting into the morality of book burning,the obvious cry for 15 minutes of fame, or the ease with which the media can be snookered into a non story.

I can not get past one basic point.

All books are precious and should be treated with reverence.

Every book is a snapshot in time. The good , bad, and ugly contained in print,   a type of  history .  Books are reedited reprinted and changed over time, only by protecting a copy will future generations be able to compare .

100 year reboot

I have decided that it would be a good idea to place all house and senate seats plus the President on the same ballot. Each year divisible by 100 will already have the house and the President and 1/3 of the  running, the other 2/3 of the senate would face a recall vote.  We would have a chance to wipe the slate clean each century.

Limbaugh’s defense of Michael Steeles’ recent comments on Afghanistan boil down to this.

entire issue is more of a distraction and a division point during a march towards a victory that Republicans should win if they remain unified.

The reason voters think that the parties “are alike” is because the parties

are alike.

I’m not talking about tax policy or spending, I’m talking about the acceptance of Weasels in the party and the unwillingness to “clean your own house”

If the GOP is not willing to accept the short term losses that come with ridding the Party of Weasels, Rinos, and the corrupt, then they will forever be the mirror image of the DNC.

Sinking the OX

It appears somebody has been collecting dirt on John Oxendine for quite a while.

250 pages wound up at Red State. From those pages, you can see the basis of the first attack will be competence. John Oxendine says he has been fighting for Georgia’s insured, but in fact he’s allowed our insurance rates to skyrocket. Also in the binder is a compilation showing campaign contributions to John Oxendine with subsequent rate increases for companies related to the source of funds.
